I help companies turn the challenges and disruption that social media brings to their doorstep into positive change and goodness. My bag’s strategic and operational planning, building internal skills and reputation management.
My Luddite, school-aged self would never have believed that I'd end up working for a digital company, but after cutting my PR teeth with Intel as my main client, I began to get my head round this t'internet thingy. The next agency I worked for exposed me to some amazing, world-class, online marketing brands and some truly inspirational entrepreneurs all bursting with infectious energy, creativity and passion - I was hooked. Fast forward to NixonMcInnes, where I have finally found a home for my obsessive fascination about how digital media disrupts and evolves the relationship that people have with massive, global organisations. Working here means that I'm part of a team that genuinely wants to help companies meet the openness challenge and connect with their customers in new ways. I get to learn from a smart, diverse team of designers, developers, user experience experts and social media consultants, fusing this talent with my PR experience to hatch cool, new services for our clients.
I love...
Bad jokes, smart and inspiring people, learning new stuff, writing, my cats Rufus and Stinky, live music and dancing like an idiot at festivals.
I hate...
People with no manners, reality TV shows, beige music, grey weather, meringue.
