Steve Winton / Lead Developer

I'm the lead developer here, which means I get to design (in an architectural sense) and build all manner of wonderful things for our clients! Most of my colleagues have me labelled ‘geek’, which I’m mostly OK with.

I love working in multi-disciplinary teams comprised of designers, developers, producers, copywriters and more, and I find it extremely rewarding to overcome technical obstacles and bring ideas and concepts to life.

I also love wrapping my head around, and generally tinkering with, the latest Web technologies, currently I’m obsessing over anything that enables the Real-Time Web, particularly PubSubHubbub, WebHooks and RSSCloud. This stuff has been known to keep me awake at night!

If I were affiliated with some imaginary Cub-Scout-esque organization for Web developers, then I would have earned badges in PHP, HTTP, JavaScript, Java, HTML, XML, JSON, SQL and I would currently be trying to earn my Ruby on Rails badge.
