Pete Burden / Non-Executive Chairman
I work mainly with Will and Tom to help them grow and develop the company. My aim is to help strengthen the company, and help all the people involved grow in personal terms too. I help set strategy, give advice, run the monthly Board meetings, do some coaching, and sometimes mediate when things get hot. I also help with sales and marketing when I’m allowed.I first came across the Internet in 1981, while helping join a UK network to the Arpanet. I grew up working for a phenomenally successful global technology company, and during the nineties worked on a number of leading-edge Internet projects, including some for the BBC and other leading content publishers. I also worked with a number of start-up businesses along the way.
I am passionate about working with small businesses, finding new ways for people to communicate (on- and off-line), finding out about myself and others, and ensuring we leave a half-decent planet behind for our children.

The countryside. Looking out of my window and seeing the Sussex Downs. Good food. Taking things apart and understanding them. Watching my kids. Listening to my wife’s poetry (only joking!).
