Jenni Lloyd / Strategy Director / 01273 764017

I have a love of new technologies, a keen understanding of brand and design and a wealth of experience across different platforms and markets. A digital veteran, I built my first website in 1995 - for Unilever. This lead to a stint with the BBC where I designed the first Top of the Pops website and developed an interest in interactive TV.

Maternity leave and a move to Brighton lead me in a different direction, away from design and into strategy and account direction for clients as diverse as Best Western Hotels and Provident Financial.

I spotted the emergence of the social trend early on and jumped on board with NixonMcInnes in 2006, where I am now lucky enough to be a board director.

I am responsible for helping our clients find their feet in the new social realm – delivering a full suite of services from strategy, content development, community design through to the design and development of socially-enabled engagement platforms of all kinds.

I enjoy speaking at industry conferences and have delivered the Social Media module for the IDM Certificate in Digital Marketing over the past year. I'm also keen on exploring ways in which social media can be used for social good which is why I can be found geeking out at events like Social Innovation Camp, Hack the Government Day and Barcamp at weekends when I should be on the beach with the kids :)

I love...

I love working as part of a team of creatives and technologists – and seeing the edges blurring between the two. I love drawing and using my hands. I love love love sitting on a hillside watching my kids run about - and last but certainly not least, I like a nice cup of tea.

I hate...

Crowds, the lack of women in this industry and that dusty bit at the end of a cup of tea.
