Event: Meaning 2014 – join the movement for better 21st century business

Lee Bryant at Meaning 2013

We’re brimming over with excitement that tickets have now gone on sale for Meaning 2014, our third annual conference for better 21st century business. It’s on 18 November in the Corn Exchange, Brighton.

At NixonMcInnes we believe that business can and must be better to meet the challenges and needs of a fast changing world. We believe business must be more sustainable, conscious and democratic. We believe that great companies are communities of purpose which leave people meaningfully better off.

We are part of a growing movement working to change how business is done, and Meaning is our annual get-together and celebration for our friends who share this mission. Our aim is to inspire and connect this movement and create change in organisations new and old.

Our speakers are an eclectic bunch of authors, thinkers and doers from around the world. They have new ideas to share and inspiring stories to tell, from a vision to radically transform the banking system, to building a highly conscious business, to bringing technology hacking to developing countries to solve local problems. We’ll be announcing more speakers over the coming weeks.

This year we have also tweaked the programme to leave more time for conversations and participation as well as our line-up of speakers. So if you like to get inspired and then roll your sleeves up and get started, Meaning is for you.

If you’d like to get a flavour of Meaning, you can check out talks from the last two years on our YouTube channel, or flick through a slideshare round-up of last year’s talks. Please follow us on Twitter for more updates.

We’d love to have you here with us in November.

And finally, here’s what people have had to say about Meaning in the past:
