Event: Conscious Capitalism and the business case for passion and purpose

Building a business based on passion and purpose. Touchy-feely hippy crap, right?

Not according to research carried out by Raj Sisodia and published in his book Firms of Endearment. It’s dynamite for those of us searching for evidence that purpose-driven business is not just a dream, but also beats business as usual on its own terms – profit.

He went on to co-author Conscious Capitalism with John Mackey, CEO of Whole Foods Market, an $11BN company which is leading the charge for this movement. Conscious Capitalism lays out a framework for business centred around purpose and values which maximises positive outcomes for all stakeholders from employees, to customers to local communities and the environment.

Our friends over at Conscious Business People have helped organise an evening with Raj Sisodia in London on 28 March 2014. It’s a chance to learn about the business case for a better type of business and put your questions to Raj. It’s only £35 and includes a buffet dinner courtesy of Whole Foods. All of the details are on the Eventbrite. See you there.
