What if people were stuck inside systems they didn't understand that made them behave in ways they didn't like? And then what? Then, we'd still need to guard against cynicism. Skepticism is oh so healthy and cynicism oh so limiting. Cynicism leads us back in a circle to the loathing you cite. Back to 'them'. That's what we need to fear. Great post Will.
