Social Media-Savvy Web Producer Wanted

Hello, would you like to join our team? We are looking for a social media-savvy producer to join our in-house digital design and development team at our offices in central Brighton.

This is an exciting hybrid role – a combination of consulting, requirements gathering, usability testing, information architecture and user centred design; as well as project managing design and development teams to deliver web projects of the highest quality on time and budget. It’s a responsible position but you will be supported by a friendly, experienced team all with a vested interest in helping you to succeed. There are opportunities to grow in this role and for you to use your initiative to expand and improve services as you see fit.

You’ll be joining a talented and friendly multi-disciplinary team of 17 digital specialists. This position reports to the Production Director.

If you know how to see a web project through from concept to completion then we’d love to hear from you.

Skills range

It’s essential that you are a passionate participant in social media and digital design. Perhaps you have your own blog; participate in online social networks like Twitter; upload photos to Flickr or collect links in del.icio.us. We don’t mind exactly how you engage with social media, but for you to successfully advise our clients on this exciting new area, you must have a genuine enthusiasm for it and be living and breathing it yourself. This together with a real interest in art, design, media and culture would make for an ideal candidate.

It is also essential that you have experience in leading at least two web projects from a requirements gathering stage through design and build to delivery. Ideally you will be able to show us some social media projects that you have produced. You don’t have to be an expert in every single one of these areas, but if you have skills or some exposure to most of them then we’d love you to apply for this role. If you are a specialist with expert-level skills in a few of these areas then please do get in touch anyway as we may be able to find an alternative role for you.
