Measuring bounce rates on landing pages is one of the easiest ways of spotting unsuccessful targeting of campaigns, or design and content flaws within a website. ‘One client’s pay-per-click campaign was delivering traffic to a page with a bounce rate of more than 80%‘, reveals Jenni Lloyd, one of our on-line marketing consultants here at NixonMcInnes. ‘Each of those clicks represented a £5 wasted cost.’
