Amazon provides great online services. Too bad about the outage. Glad to see they recovered quickly.

There is really not much you can do on an outage except wait for Amazon to get their systems running again.

If an online service like Amazon becomes unavailable for a period of time, a couple of alternatives would be to save the information on your website (a copy of the Amazon last accessible data) or to have a temporarily “backup plan” to get similar information from another online service.

Look forward to hear from more of “Amazon’s toys”.</description>

		<description>Thats a shame, one of the major selling point of these services is that the are very robust and reliable.
To be fair to them the PR response to the techcrunch article said they&#039;ve been up for two years with no downtime which is pretty good.</description>
